Editorial Standards & Corrections

At Raw Missouri, our mission is to provide timely, factual, and transparent reporting on events affecting communities across Missouri.

                                                                Our Standards

We strive to:

Report facts accurately and fairly.

Distinguish factual reporting from opinion.

Attribute information to official documents, public records, interviews, or other reliable sources whenever possible.

Update stories as new verified information becomes available.

We recognize that information available during developing news events may change. When appropriate, stories will be updated to reflect new facts.

                                                               Corrections

If we publish incorrect information, we will correct it as quickly as practical once the error has been verified.

Corrections may include:

Updating factual inaccuracies.

Clarifying incomplete information.

Correcting names, dates, locations, or other details.

Adding editor's notes when significant changes have been made.

We do not remove accurate news articles solely because an individual requests their removal.
